Cat Wars

We only moved into our new house around seven months ago. When we moved in our cat had to stay in for yonks cos of the kitten saga ( see back posts! ) Anyway - since she started getting out Ollie - the queer looking european cat at the end of the street has been really annoyed that she is daring to Cat around in his territory. They frequently chase each other back and forward along the street and through the gardens and for a while it look as if our wee puss was holding her own. A few weeks ago though we decided to trim the huge trees that hang over our fence from next door. While I was up the ladder I nearly fell off in fright cos Maisie came bounding along the top of the fence and stopped right at the top of the ladder as if to say " save me". Next thing Ollie comes bounding along from next door and only stops when he sees me ( sprayer of water )who he hates. Maisie can just been seen camoflagued amongst the trees. Partner always telling me off for spraying water at him but I cant bear to let her fight her own battles cos she's so small and he's such a bully ( male - likes to run the show! )

By the way - its not just how they look thats weird - when those cats miow its like a cross between an elephant and a cow moo ing.... so so strange - its not just Maisie he bullies either, his owners have a brown one too called Rummer and he's terrified of Ollie ( top cat )One thing I do have to admit - Ive never seen animals - cats or otherwise with such stunningly beautiful eyes - the white ones are amazing startling blue and the brown ones are the most stunning emerald green.
